Top WTA pro trains in Victorville

Did you know that up-and-coming WTA star Angela Haynes trains in Victorville? Given the amount of travel required of the pros to compete in the circuit, and considering the length of the "season," she probably doesn't spend as much time in the high desert as she wants, but she has been seen practicing at the courts at Doris Davies Park and Spring Valley Lake Country Club, on occasion.
Angela was born September 27, 1984, in Bellflower, CA, and was ranked number 1 in Southern California's Under 10 division at the age of eight. She first started playing qualifiers in 2001. She won her first ITF Circuit final in 2003, and in April 2005, broke into the top 100 for the first time. She plays left-handed.
