David Goodman seeks sponsorship

Local tennis stand-out David Goodman is looking for sponsorship in support of his quest to join the pro tennis circuit.

The costs of participating in the pro tour are enormous. David's Babolat Pure Control racquets cost almost $200 apiece, and he should have at least a dozen. A reel of Luxilon Alu Power -- enough to restring 18 racquets -- costs $270, and lasts about nine weeks. And then there are practice balls, shoes, clothing, travel expenses, insurance, phone service, lodging, food, energy bars, sports drinks, and other day-to-day expenses. David has also hired former ATP player Jeff Tarango as a part-time coach, a huge expense, but one that may help him raise his game to the next level.

If you or your company are able to provide substantial sponsorship, please contact him or Mark Goodman for a complete description of his goals, his plans, and his sponsorship options.
